December Photography Project: A Collage of my Favorite shots from this Year’s Projects

Well, I totally missed doing the November photo project because of my girls being involved in a traveling choir that toured every weekend. Plus I took a trip to Pennsylvania to visit my family and my new, beautiful niece! That was a lot of fun, but it meant that I had almost no free time to write for a whole month! Now that I am done with Christmas shopping, wrapping, and baking, I have a few minutes. 😉

As my project for this month, I decided to do a collage representing all of my favorite shots from each month this year. Here is what I came up with…Enjoy!

July- Black and White

Sophia and Jenna…friends for life!

This is some lumber that is lounging around in our garage waiting to be made into some beautiful cabinets for my laundry room!

One of my beautiful, brown-eyed kidlets

This is a part of the paneled wall in my laundry room. I always think of Michigan when I see it. 😉

My gardening hat resting on the fence surrounding my cottage garden

I love this picture. It was sunset and I only had my cell phone camera so the lighting is off, but I love my people and the joy on their faces in this photo!

There you have it! It’s a photographic journey through most of my year. I sure had a lot of fun doing these projects. I’m not sure yet what I’ll take on as a hobby in the new year ahead, but I will keep you informed. 😉 Maybe I’ll continue with photography, or maybe I’ll finally learn to crochet or knit. What ever the year ahead brings me, the most important skill I want to hone and develop is an ever-closer walk with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His name alone just thrills my heart and captivates my mind. I feel like a young girl in love and an older married woman at the same time. My love for Him is like the feeling you get when you have a “puppy love” crush, when you want to be together all the time, and He is never far from your thoughts. At the same time I feel that my love for Him has weathered the storms of life and gotten deeper, stronger, and more secure and fulfilling. There is a comfortableness to older love that is steady, peaceful and content. I am so thankful for Jesus, the greatest gift that the world will ever know. I pray that all of my loved ones and yours will see Him for who He is this season and beyond.

Love to you all and Merry Christmas!
